Auston Farm

A friend of mine from back home came into the possession of a small farm a while back. It was a very expensive property to maintain and the yield was significantly lower than the cost. My friend decided to start offering private horse back riding lessons. He asked me to come by, walk around, and photograph what ever I thought was worth photographing. The first thing I noticed was the farms location, it was right in the middle of a moderately populated, yet seemingly back woods area which made it the perfect place for people come and enjoy the environment. I chose to photograph scenes that would advertise the atmosphere of the farm in order to communicate the idea that this farm, is not just a place to learn how to ride a horse. You can come to this place and witness a true natural oasis, where birds and horses play with barn mice as stoic farm cats and dogs stand watch over all. The sun always shines and the vibes are always good.
