TDS Educational Signage

This was a really awesome project I was given the opportunity to work on. Keene State College had just built a fancy new building on campus called the TDS center, which would house the architecture, sustainable product design and safety departments. The building was designed with sustainability in mind. The coolest aspect about the TDS is that the building itself was meant to be used as a teaching tool. Two of my classmates and I were chosen to spend a semester working with the building architects, contractors, and administrators in order to create educational signage that would shed light on the building, how it was made, and the eventual future that sustainable building design could create.

TDS MATERIALS & THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS

TDS MATERIALS & THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS

This info-graphic communicates the various materials used in the construction of the building. The main focus being those materials which came from within the LEED certified local radius of five hundred miles, and the environmental impacts associated with the manufacturing of those materials and their transportation to Keene NH.
